			Users can create an optional user account.

An active Pornopedia user account can not be deleted as opposed to usual forums. However, your user account can be blocked on request and your username can be renamed to ''Blocked user X'' (X = a number determined by an administrator). Your user page and your discussion page can be deleted anytime.

Your IP address is visible to the administrator. We use your IP address confidentially. After your user account is activated, a temporary password will be send to you by email. Your password (neither the temporary password nor the password you'll choose later) is not visible to the administrator.

			In order to create a user account, you'll need an email address. We use your email address confidentially and don't share it with others without asking you first. We also don't send any newsletters or spam to your email address.

			== Access data ==
			We save access data of the Pornopedia server via log files. In the log files, the following data is saved: the accessed site or file, the date, the time, the IP address, the browser type and version, the operating system of the user and the previous visited site.

			The data is saved for security reasons and will be deleted after seven days, unless it isn't needed for proving illegal activities until the case is closed.

			== Affiliate programs ==
			Pornopedia is financed by affiliate programs via the use of tailored text links, for example links to download pages and DVD shops in articles about actors. These links can be found in the infobox and in the external links section. They are marked with the [[File:External-link-ltr-icon.png]] icon. In order to assign the commission for any sales to Pornopedia, cookies are used by the affiliate websites. To the affiliate websites it is visible which affiliate link has been clicked on Pornopedia, from which exact page the visit came and what was bought after the click.

			== Social networks ==
			Pornopedia is in social networks to publish news and to contact people who are interested in being contacted. When using those social media websites, the terms of service and privacy policies of their respective operating companies apply.

			Depending on your privacy settings of the respective platform, we receive a notification email if you like our Facebook, subscribe to our YouTube or Vimeo channel, or if you follow us on Ello or Twitter. After reading the email, we instantly delete it. The same goes for notification emails whenever you like a post or a video.
